JANSEN® RD-600S Tracked Dump Truck – 600 kg Payload, Hydrostatic Drive & Hydraulic Self-Loading Bucket

The JANSEN® RD-600S expands the RD-600’s capabilities with a hydraulic self-loading bucket. This self-propelled crawler dumper combines a hydrostatic drive with a hydraulic tipping body and a self-loading function. Suitable materials can thus be picked up, transported, and then hydraulically unloaded.

The hydrostatic drive allows for stepless adjustment of travel speed and facilitates controlled operation during various transport and loading tasks. The crawler track ensures traction on a variety of surfaces. On level ground, the maximum payload is 600 kg.

Power is provided by a Vanguard® 4-stroke gasoline engine from Briggs & Stratton with 14 PS / 10.4 kW. The engine features an integrated cyclone air filter and can be started using either an electric starter or a recoil starter.

Hydraulic self-loading bucket

The main difference from the RD-600 is the hydraulic self-loading bucket. It allows for the pickup of suitable materials and assists in filling the load bed. This reduces additional manual steps, particularly during repetitive loading tasks.

The self-loading bucket can be used to pick up, for example, sand, soil, gravel, stones, and other suitable bulk materials. After loading, the material is transported in the hopper to the desired location and hydraulically dumped there.

The combination of self-loading function, crawler track, and hydraulic tipping bucket thus enables the pickup, transport, and unloading of suitable materials with a single machine.

Hydrostatic Drive

The JANSEN® RD-600S features a hydrostatic drive system. This enables stepless regulation of travel speed and allows the driving style to be adapted to different work and terrain conditions.

Key features of the hydrostatic drive include:

  • Stepless speed control
  • Linear drive movement
  • High torque
  • Fast-acting overload protection
  • Low mechanical wear
  • Capable of starting from a standstill under load
  • Low-maintenance design

Up to 600 kg payload

On level ground, the JANSEN® RD-600S can carry a payload of up to 600 kg. As the grade increases, the maximum payload decreases accordingly.

  • Flat ground: up to 600 kg payload
  • 17% or approx. 10° incline: up to 450 kg payload
  • 30% or approx. 17° incline: up to 375 kg payload

The load should always be adjusted to the respective terrain and gradient conditions.

Hydraulic tipping body with a tilt angle of more than 90°

In addition to the self-loading bucket, the RD-600S features a hydraulically tiltable body. The hydraulic system raises and lowers the bed, thereby facilitating controlled unloading of the transported material.

The tipping angle is greater than 90°. The large tipping angle allows the bed to be tipped far out, which facilitates the unloading of suitable bulk materials.

The reinforced body has a wall thickness of 3 mm. The dimensions of the loading body are approximately 1,330 x 620 x 680 mm (L x W x H).

14 PS Vanguard® engine from Briggs & Stratton

Power is provided by a Vanguard® 4-stroke gasoline engine from Briggs & Stratton with an output of 14 PS or 10.4 kW.

The engine runs on regular gasoline and features an electric starter as well as an additional recoil starter. The fuel tank has a capacity of 6.6 liters.

The engine is also equipped with an integrated cyclone air filter.

Crawler track system for various terrains

The crawler track system enhances the RD-600S’s traction and stability on various terrains. As a result, the crawler dumper is designed for transport and loading tasks on uneven, muddy, sandy, or sloped surfaces, for example.

The ground clearance is approximately 145 mm at the front and 170 mm at the rear. The overall width of the assembled machine is approximately 890 mm.

Sturdy Operator Platform

The JANSEN® RD-600S is equipped with a sturdy operator platform. It allows the operator to ride on the machine while it is in motion and control the tracked dumper from the operator’s station.

For a variety of loading and transport tasks

Thanks to the combination of a hydraulic self-loading bucket, hydrostatic drive, crawler track system, and hydraulic tipping body, the RD-600S is suitable for a variety of work processes. Suitable materials can be loaded, transported, and then hydraulically unloaded.

These include, for example:

  • Sand
  • Soil
  • Gravel
  • Rocks
  • Construction materials
  • Other suitable bulk and transport materials
