STIGA's unique joystick technology gives you maximum control over direction, steering, and speed, along with a 360° turning radius for effortless cutting around trees, shrubs, flowerbeds, and garden ornaments—like a Zero Turn, but improved.
Control both blade rotation and traction speed for a fully customized cut perfectly suited to the shape, size, and condition of your lawn. The STIGA management system automatically communicates with the machine's traction controllers, independently managing the motors in each rear wheel to provide instant response, maximum safety, and precise tracking while you mow.
Position the deck in one of eight cutting positions using the center lever. Then, with STIGA's Smart Cutting Mode, choose from three blade speed settings: Eco (2,800 rpm) for very frequent mowing or mulching; Standard (3,000 rpm) for typical weekly passes and cuts up to 2.5 cm; and Boost (3,200 rpm) for faster cuts or thicker, taller grass.
Gyro lets you combine cutting and driving speed depending on the type of work you need to do on your lawn. You can choose Standard mode for your usual cutting passes or Performance mode at 11 km/h for ultra-fast results. For each speed, Gyro will automatically limit the minimum and maximum speeds and apply different acceleration curves, so you always maintain control, whatever speed you choose.
Thanks to its carefully designed weight distribution and very low center of gravity (only 55.3 cm), Gyro offers optimal stability (for both pitch and roll) even on slopes of up to 15°. Following STIGA's tradition of testing beyond industry standards, the Gyro has been tested to ensure a greater safety margin (up to 32°) than the machine's intended use. Furthermore, the machine's electronics automatically manage speed limits on slopes, further enhancing safety.
With its integrated ePower battery and 98 cm wide side-discharge cutting deck, the Gyro 500e can mow up to 5,000 square meters on a single charge, with minimal noise and vibration levels. Use the included fast charger to fully recharge the battery in just two hours and 45 minutes.
